Connect the Gateway

1. The Hardware

The following hardware is required to Setup the Kerlink 868/915 MHz Gateway:

• Kerlink IoT station 868/915

• Kerlink UHF 868 MHz antenna 0.3m

• N-connector male-male cable
• Ethernet UTP cable

• RJ45 connectors and clamping tool (If the UTP cable doesn't have connectors on them)

2. Connect the Gateway

1. Connect the antenna to the gateway with the N-cable

2. Open up the gateway

3, Connect the 8 wired UTP cable to the screw connector inside the gateway.

4. Plug the other end of the UTP cable that comes from the gateway into the Data & power out port of the POE (Power Over the Ethernet) adapter.

5. Plug the UTP cable that comes from the router into the Data in Port of the POE adapter.

6. Press the Test button on the gateway to check if the gateway is up and running

7. Leave the gateway lid open till the gateway has been updated.
