Will the new LoRa Semtech SX1262 have CSMA?

In the release article of the SX1262, Semtech says the SX1262 is compatible with ETSI EN
300 220, FCC CFR 47 Part 15, China regulatory requirements, and the Japanese ARIB T-108.

Can any of these be taken as a hint that this new series will have CSMA built in?

Thank you.

Channel activity detection should work as expected in SX1261/2, i.e. it is able to detect the presense of LoRa signal (with same BW/SF), not only the presence of preamble.

Thank you. That is indeed great news!

By any chance, would you like to teach me how you learnt that information?

Hi,

try to register here: https://semtech.force.com/lora/LC_Resources

They don’t keep things in order with that community (and it seems that there a lot of disorder at Semtech at all) , so it can take some time to get your registration approved. But there’s a lot of (unstructured and unsorted) useful information in members area.
