Greetings to all. I have one simple and direct question: in which distributions of TTS/TTI is supported the Pub/Sub integration?
I’ve always worked with Community Ed, but now for a large project I would need that specific feature. Which distribution/deployments/pland do I need to purchase for that?
Pub/Sub guide page has this warning: “This feature has been removed for Cloud deployments!”, does this means that Cloud, Dedicated Cloud and Com. Ed. are all deprived of such feature? Please expand
The PubSub integration where The Things Stack connects to external MQTT servers (instead of external MQTT clients connecting to The Things Stack) is indeed disabled on shared cloud deployments. The reason is that it does not scale reliably to thousands of users.
In private deployments (open source, enterprise, AWS launcher and dedicated cloud) it is possible to use this integration.
