since a few days i try to realise a Lorawan-application for a new project, but there are many components to pay attentaion of and i do not know which are the best ones and compatible. I hope someone can help me and give me a suggestion for an application.
About the features:
-Possible high range (outdoors)
-5 sensors (temperature, GPS, vibration, pressure, humidity)
-Possible low cost
-EU 868
Sorry for asking, but i’ve never done a project like this, but i want to try it.
It would be a good idea to give the forum and outline of what the actual application is, someone might have done it before.

I would like to do this project at the university.
The aim of this project is to develop a system to get data for a predictive maintenance on freight cars.
For example:- The brakes are getting too hot. As soon as this happens, a signal is to be sent.
You need a LoRaWAN-Gateway with internet connection and Nodes with the matching sensors.
It is also possible that there is in receiving range an other gateway, so you need only your nodes!
