First of all, I fully intend this topic to be a ‘not too serious’ discussion, which I’m expecting to ultimately end with “why on earth did you think of this?”…
I appreciate that this is a totally far-fetched idea, but I wonder whether the earthing cabling distributed around a property could carry and radiate 868MHz?
Provided suitable capacitive separation and protection was applied, would there be any issues? My major concern would be the fact that the ‘antenna’ is now earthed, and that it would be nearly impossible to tune it to resonate at 868MHz.
Fun idea though…
