Good intro to what where & why of TP4056 based Li-Ion charging modules and potential safety add-ons
maybe usefull to see what happends if the GPS signal from a tracker/gateway or whatever is jammed.
probably not very legal, but , it will be only used under lab conditions
Recommend you dont do it!..would need to be in a faraday cage to be “lab conditions” and then tracker wouldnt get GPS signal anyway! V.Illegal but often used by ‘white van man’/delivery/logistics driver types who want to park up a for a while ‘off grid’ so their companies cant track them…one guy copped a shovel load of trouble (about a year back IIRC) when he parked up near a US airport (Newark I think) and switched on his Jammer and took a rest…he disrupted the Airports GPS system and ended up with a $50k fine and I think a short stretch…
nonono… relax Jeff
reach is between 2-5 meters , I expect one tomorrow I’ll let you know
(or next week with a drink )
1st one is on me - if the authorities havent tracked you down!
Think I mixed up some of the stories I’d heard but principle still holds:
maybe I should have bought this one… for annoying people in pubs
…and the counter measures:

LOL… and you think he’ll understand that equipment
’ excuse me Sir, what is that little black box with all the antennas and blinking lights ’
’ that’s my pacemaker Sir, I’m in constant contact with the hospital’
oh YES
oh NO hehe… can’t upload a .zip file
Wow even cheaper than the old G26s though smaller display - harder to read?
At this rate we will find them given away in cereal packets!
if your interested I can take one with me next week… bought a few
*idea is to get it talking to a laird rm-186 ??
the one you linked is not working with the special bootloader.
Ready to count some watt-hours.
from Jeff’s secret stock… tnx !
Your welcome! Look forward to seeing the results
Wow, nice!!
But what’s ‘next week’?
lol… that was yesterday evening when I met Jeff … So we exchanged some ‘goodies’
