@BoRRoZ @rocketscream some more informations available?
cpu? , RN2483 new version without temperature problems? , battery? (cr123A LiPo or half size AA)
battery holder and antenna connector pre-soldered at delivery (would like to have it custonizable)
deep sleep current usage? weight incl battery?
thanks
Based on an ATmega328P. Will be using RN2483A for final revision, @BoRRoZ is having the non-A version for prototype but flashed with latest 1.0.3 firmware (doesnât solve temperature issue but current consumption yes). Runs on either a single AA or CR123A if using the battery connector. Or anything below 3.3 V to the header. Not as current low as no-regulator setup or Li-Ion/Pol, but having easy access to purchase the battery is the main reason and cost/mAH. 30uA from a fresh CR123A and 70uA from a fresh AA. Works down to 1.0V with alkaline batteries. Didnât work great with carbon zinc batteries though due to higher internal resistance. Have both option of u.FL or SMA. Weâll post more about it once itâs out so I wonât spam furtherâŚ
thanks for fast answerng
sad, not keeping the M0 for better performance and more memory.
are different battery holders included or must the decision (AA vs CR123A) be made while ordering?
In the plan too. But both have their own space of applications we believe. Not everything need lots of memory and speed. Most applications in LoRaWAN fits well with ATmega328P.
Plan is to let customer choose which connector they want, probably not solder by default.
