Semtech announced a new concentrator chip - SX1308 - to power sub $100 gateways.
Interesting that chip footprint is the same as the SX1301 so existing gateway designs - like the TTN gateway - could be compatible with minor or no changes. Like its parent the SX1308 also seems to be under NDA, data sheet available only to paying LoRa Alliance members and chips only available after passing the initiation ritual in Grenoble.

The gateway will likely be unable to participate to TTN, but interesting price point. Same collaborative deployment model as TTN, for residential use.
