I am new to lora and the things network.
Can my development end device be tested with any local gateways or will my devices only connect with my gateway…which I havent procured yet.
LoRaWAN end devices will use any gateway within radio range that is connected to the network you are using (TTN for this forum). You can even move to a different country (if it uses the same frequencies) without having to restart or reconfigure your end device.
However, for debugging it helps to have you own gateway so you can check what is happening, like is data actually being sent.
