Plastic housing of The Things Gateway deformed through the sun?

As was advertised I stuck my The Things Gateway to my window at my attic (flat roof) about 2 months ago. This window is pointing South West and I live in The Netherlands.

Today I noticed that the plastic was deformed. This doesn’t seem normal to me as it was build to be stuck on a Window!! Am I the only one, what can I do about it.

Normal windows are one thing, attic windows (I have two) see far more sun and are usually an enclosed space that gets hot and I’ve cooked my fair share of electronics, aerials, cables etc - so this I’d regard as normal.

Gaffer tape fixes most problems.
