Recently flew from Birmingham UK to Corfu - with a Lorawan GPS tracker attached to hand luggage.
No GPS lock - but an incredible amount of gateways picked up the transmission during the flight all over Europe.
Is there anyway of searching against Gateway EUI?
Is it legal to have transmitting devices with an active gps inside a flying plane these days??? It seems times have changed…

I have a lot of electronics with me always and I only get questions incidentally. Also restricins have reduced a lot on the use of electronics on board. Think of all the smartfones that stay on on purpose or “forgotten”.
From regulator point of view it is not planned for. Devices using ISM bands are intended to be used at a average night of 1,5 meters above ground.
