No longer receiving packets on SF9/BW125

Hello,

My gateways are very far away from my nodes - everything is setup in a remote area. On V2 I was disabling ADR and setting my nodes to use SF9/BW125, which worked perfectly. I’ve updated my gateways to V3 and I can no longer get them to receive packets from my nodes when ADR is disabled and I use SF9/BW125.

If I enable ADR on my nodes, it does work but then 90% of the sent packets never get received since it uses SF7. After hours and hours my nodes never switch to a different spreading factor, so I really would just like to be able to disable ADR like before.

Any idea why this no longer works?

Can’t see why SF9 would not continue to work on V3.

Re you turning on ADR, when you say you waited hours and hours, how many uplinks for one node does that equate too? the backend needs to receive about 40 (if I remember right) uplinks to do its analysus before it will ask the node to change SF.

IIRC its ~20
