Iothub.fail uplink messages?

Good day to you -

I am getting intermittent “Fail to process upstream message” uplink messages that look like this.

{
“name”: “as.packages.azure.iothub.fail”,
“time”: “2024-06-17T13:48:49.029962677Z”,
“identifiers”: [
{
“device_ids”: {
“device_id”: “snow-node-09”,
“application_ids”: {
“application_id”: “snowmelt-holland-mi”
}
}
}
],
“context”: {
“tenant-id”: “”
},
“visibility”: {
“rights”: [
“RIGHT_APPLICATION_TRAFFIC_READ”
]
},
“unique_id”: “”
}

Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. Any clues to what my issue might be?

These Multitech MDOT nodes have been running for years, with good transfer to stable multitech gateways. Not sure what my issue might be.

Thanks very much.

What is the RSSI, SNR like?

You possibly could have some corrosion on the antenna connectors, dry joins or something similar.

      "rssi": -103,
      "channel_rssi": -103,
      "snr": 3.25,

Is this message indicative of poor signal? It’s not one I remember seeing before.

Ah ha - I think that this is that I have shut down the azure iothub integration, but left the config in TTN. I deleted it, and I bet this will clear this particular warning.

Thanks for the feedback, Johan!
