I am working with LoStick from Ronoth, which has a RN2483 module on it.
The interface of the module has a get command which returns a duty cycle prescaler, which is set by the server. But I do not understand, what this prescaler does. Can anyone explain to me? Here is the manual and a screenshot of the command.

The detail can be found in section 5.3, page 26 of the official spec:
Basically it’s a command from the server to tell the device how often it should be sending. I think the use of the word ‘prescaler’ is just the back room computer scientists using fancy language.
