I’m currently grappling with how to send a downlink message, which I have as a hexadecimal code, to my Sensecap 2105 sensor. For testing purposes, I’ve utilized a hex code from the manual to adjust the interval to 10 minutes.
Here’s what I’m doing: I navigate to the sensor, then to Messaging => Downlink, where I change the FPort to 2 and input my hex code into the payload field. However, when I check the live data, I receive the message “No encoder defined for codec.”
At this juncture, I’m a bit perplexed because the sensor is already listed in the TTI Repo of sensors. Consequently, I would assume that everything is set up correctly for downlink as well.
I’m uncertain about what misstep I might be making. I’m hopeful that someone can provide assistance or perhaps offer an example of how this process should ideally function when everything is functioning as expected.
