Claiming/adding gateway from someone else

Hi all,

I got a gateway RAK 7258 from someone who’s brother passed away this May. This gateway is still active in TTN so I can not add it to my TTN0478 domain.

However, the person who gave the gateway to me does nog have access to the TTN account or email address of his brother that passed away.

Who can help me to move this gateway to my TTN account?

@johan maybe you can direct me in the right way? (ps, is tagging allowed here?)

We’re really getting mature as a community if we need to properly handle the belongings of deceased community members. We don’t have a policy for this at the moment.

@MarcVanBracht can you please reach out to rish@thethingsindustries.com mentioning this topic, the gateway ID, the concerning TTN account ID as well as which user or organization should assume collaboration rights? Thanks.
