Bootloader for RN2483

Help!

re: RN2483 on Tindie breakout board https://www.tindie.com/products/DrAzzy/rn2483-breakout-bare-board/

I have an RN2483 module that I think has lost it’s bootloader. I have tried the Boot loader recovery tool from the Microchip Development utility at different baud rates (9600, 19200, 57600) with file “RN2483-v101.for.bootloader.hex”, but they all give a “COM14 disconnected: communication link failure” message. It was talking to me, so I know my USB to serial board is fine. Have tried pulling the RESET pin low, but to no avail.

I have a PicKit3, but no idea which pins goto on this board.

Can anyone help me to get this working again please?

did you search this forum ?

I am going to try see if I can get it going with the PicKit3, wish me luck

Just tried on my old Windows 7 machine and at 9600, the bootloader flashed ok, so we are back in business.

that was fast … congrats :sunglasses:
