This is my new temperature sensor built with an ATtiny84a, RFM95W as described here.
It is equipped with a DS18B20 temperature sensor and uses the OneWire library (thanks to Leo for code modification).
Housing is partly 50mm PVC and 3D printed parts. The node is on my allotment garden outside the city and placed with the antenna down, 1m above the ground. There is an old 18650 / 900mAh battery inside and in sleep mode the node will use 6uA. Temperature is measured once per hour.
Sensor is temporarily used to read the temperature inside my compost heap…
