Hi
Are there 868MHz pcb 1/2 wave dipole antennas with u.Fl connector for a node?
To get the max out of a node I would like to add a 868MHz 1/2wave dipole to it, are the pcb antenna’s with the u.Fl connector alread attached?
Edit: I’m located in the EU.

Hi,
you could use this one: https://lowpowerlab.com/shop/product/161
with an SMA to u.fl cable

Thanks, but it’s located in the USA. But it’s what I have in mind with a u.FL connector.
Maybe also with a coax+ sma for gateway’s in the future.
Sorry I forgot to mention I’m in the EU.

Ah, ok.
Of course, if that is an option to you, you could just build these yourself.
The design is not too complicated.

Hi
I’ve seen that it has a peak gain dBi 0.4 @ 868 MHz and total > -3.0dB @ 868 MHz.
But maybe this is the practial limit to get?

The design is not complicated, but measuring and tuning needs equiment. PCB’s are also much cheaper in larger quantities.
