Connect the gateway to network and power supply

Connect the gateway to Ethernet network.

Plug a micro-USB power supply.

The MAC address is written below the gateway and can be read by a flash code application (12 hex digits)

The name of the gateway is : Nemeus-gw-XXXXXXXXXXXX (where XXXXXXXXXXXX is the MAC address of the gateway)

Check ping from computer to gateway :

C:\Users\adm>ping Nemeus-gw-XXXXXXXXXXXX.

If required, the gateway address can be retrieved by a network scanner  :

Check Java Runtime Environement

Application requires Java Runtime Environement (JRE)

Check that JRE is installed

If JRE is not installed, download and install JRE from https://www.java.com/download/

Nemeus application tool

Download the latest version of Nemeus Gateway Tool from http://store.nemeus.fr/apps/gatewayTool

Double click jar file to run the application tool

Connect the application to the gateway, either by using IP address or with gateway name Nemeus-gw-XXXXXXXXXXXX (replace XXXXXXXXXXXX with gateway MAC address)

Click "SNET" and  write :

* Server name : router.eu.thethings.network

* Port : 1700

Click "Radio" and choose Mode : "Packet Forwarder" instad of "Network server"

Click "Write" to save configuration

Wait a few seconds

Click "Reset Gateway" to reboot

Gateway is now ready to forward data from devices to TTN

If you want to register the Gateway, click "FWD" to retrieve Gateway EUI.
The default EUI is MAC address of gateway XXXXXXXXXXXX followed by 00 00

Register gateway on TTN

When registering the Pico Gateway on TTN account :

* check "I'm using the legacy packet forwarder"

* write the gateway EUI (default value : gateway MAC address followed by 00 00)
