Nice. What display and Bezel are you using?
They are very old (and cheap) LCD displays, mine has a serial / spi interface on the back and have a ST7920 driver chip (original DF robot module ) there seems to be versions with a 1602 chip too, but I don’t know if this bezel fits.
Most are sold without that serial interface ( you can wire it SPI ) but you can find them separate on ebay and solder direct on the display PCB.
Displays are available in Green and Blue.
Ruggedised alu enclosure - https://www.ebay.com/itm/1590BB-Guitar-Effects-Box-Container-Aluminum-120x95x35mm-Silver-K4E6/112399361986
also cheap, 20 x 4 with I2C interface
These are the cheapest directionals I could find for an experiment , So I bought 4, and some hinges.
The idea is to mount the antennas on these hinges So they can be folded when transporting.
Hope that isn’t too bad for the overall VSWR
heavy duty lipo’s … no protection build in So carefull
my first order from DAMPACCU (nl) and positive
Li-ion some less danger.
2.42 inch Green OLED Display SSD1309 128x64 SPI Serial Port
wasted hours, searching the web, soldering smd’s from SPI to I2c and viceversa, different drivers, boards ect ect.
I don’t know now if it worked when arrived, if I damaged the pcb.
So this is not an easy ‘plug and play’ oled … I buy the 1306 I2C one that works out of the box and that I have used before
good packaging
looks solid… but I have some doubts about the clamps …are they RVS rust proof ?
