The Things Node: RN 2903 battery drains

Hi All,

I am using The Things Node (RN 2903) with TTN basic example and noticed that it is draining battery at a rapid pace. Our first set of batteries ran out in 3 days.

After doing some digging around the support forum, I found this super helpful topic.

I updated the firmware to 1.0.3 from here.

After the update, it still drains at the same pace.

I looked into the release notes of RN 2903 and RN 2483. RN 2483 release notes do mention about battery consumption fix but there is no such mention in 2903 release notes.

Is anybody having the same issue with RN 2903 or have any suggestions?

The Things Node : new low power library development

Hi all, I’m trying to get official the things node working for a descent time, my first tests have not been really successful. Looking at this post seems I’m not the only one.
