Is the Melbourne LoRaWAN active much?

Hi guys, No posts here in over a year so maybe I’m calling out into an empty space, but I’m interested in getting together to talk about running LoRa gateways in Victoria. I work with blockchain technology, specifically, proof of location. Anybody here? Cheers

What Spectrum are is the Melbourne TTN community using? I’m using AU915 for my home router. My LoRa device is not connecting today in the CBD and there is no way of knowing - that I can tell - what the CBD routers are configured for?

Here is a blurb from the things network about the correct spectrum:

In Australia, The Things Network uses both the LoRaWAN AU915 band plan and (more recently) the AS923 bandplan. See https://www.thethingsnetwork.org/wiki/LoRaWAN/Frequencies. Your region can use either one of these (or both).

For AU915, we use Frequency Sub Band 2, also known as channels 8-15, or 916.8MHz through to 918.2MHz.
AS923 doesn’t require a bandplan setting, but we recommend using AS920-923, aka AS1 aka 922.0 - 923.4MHz.

If configuring a gateway, select meshed-router. If configuring an application, select meshed-hander (under Settings).
Also, use the Australia console (https://console.thethings.meshed.com.au/), especially if you want to use an Integration.

I am running a PoC and want to buy a chirping chip and a gateway. Anyone in Melbourne sell them? No worries if not, I’ll order online. Just checking if I can pick up a getaway/chip pair quickly this week.

Hi, I am pretty new in the IoT area and I am looking for information about a project I have in mind. is it possible to “rent” a gateway in Melbourne City to send data through it?
