Oh sure, let’s run a local GIT server on a Raspberry PI…
Your microSD card will probably (not!) like it (for as long as it stays working…).
Server repositories should be stored in a safe and reliable place.

it’s only the server part… the data could be on an attached SSD / NAS / other local networkstorage
