These are very frightening developments (application of such technologies in China for ‘keeping tabs’ on residents is a ‘good’ example of that).
yes… very scary
China ? and what about The Netherlands, you can’t travel from A to B , by foot, bicycle, train, car, you name it, without being detected/registered by camera’s, licenseplate scanners, GSM antenna’s ect.
We are all becoming prisoners in a digital cage… but most of us don’t care, don’t understand, until it’s too late and a handfull of private company’s control everyone’s life.
My idea would be to teach every child , and at least one hour a week, what and how important privacy is in this digital age, but thats’ me… that’s why I support BOF
