A worrying development given recent years with literally dozens of ATM’s closing every week…concentrating payments into trackable cards and online payments increased data gathering and reduces privacy and also make it harder for more vulnerable citizens with less access to cash, poorer access to credit cards and other instruments and of course less access to or interest in using internet related banking and similar services. Often its the poorer folk or the elderly or people without access to tech who rely more on cash and then end up paying more as a result!

The answer to this is simple.
Most all people are unable to think for themselves as to what is safe and sensible.
It takes ‘wierdos’ to start doing stuff that everyone else then takes up as fashionable.
So it has been with cycle helmets, now fashionable, so lots wear them.
