But Mouser, Digikey etc has the SX1257 too…

we will see a big change in the market…

I can imagine we’ll see open source hardware LoRa gateways popping up on github… here’s one to get started:

other relais boards

If anyone is curious what 10x SX1301 chips look like as sent by an Ali seller

(and 10x SX1257 and 10x SX1276)

did you really buy those? Are that the 2,50 chips? I assumed someone made a typo…

the real deal :yum:

Yes, that’s a real photo of the chips I bought from the link above. $2.45/each for the SX1301 and SX1257, $1.30 for the SX1276

Photo was taken at my Hong Kong fulfilment centre - perks of running a shop - I should have them in my hands in about a week for full analysis, hopefully first test PCB will be here too.

This Power over Ethernet kit will power devices over an ethernet cable up to 100m and its only ~18,50 euro. It has a injector and a splitter. PoE runs at 48V and i havent measured any voltage drops so far. A toggle on the splitter will allow you to switch the output DC between 5V/2A … 9V/1A … 12V/1A.

Tested and works with a Raspberry PI 3B in combination with a IC880A IMSI Concentrator board

Hopefully the TTN GW’s are in that same power range … will save a lot on cabling
