On the gateway overview (TTN console) it says ‘received messages’ and ’ transmitted messages’. What does ‘transmitted messages’ mean? (see image below)
The reason I ask is that for my gateway the ‘received messages’ keeps on increasing, whilst ‘messages transmitted’ is not changing.
Hi @vlamingBoyz, these are the metrics as seen by the gateway radio receiver/transmitter.
Received Messages are uplinks received from devices.
Transmitted Messages are downlinks transmitted to devices.
If there are no downlinks to devices or your gateway is not the best gateway for downlinks then the transmitted counter will not rise.
My oldest gateway shows:
Received Messages 2977672
Transmitted Messages 3220
