ABP not arriving is usually due to frame counters not being reset on the LNS
Clearly your board has a problem with receiving - do you have another, preferably different board?
Whatever else is going on still seeing this in code?!
What RSSI values are you seeing on console now you have some seperation?
This is often a credentials/id problem - are they correct (check) and right endianness (if appropriate) or due to FCount reset on device but not in TTN LNS (taken care of in OTAA as part of joinprocess but with ABP you need to overide check or reset manually as LNS see lower than last as a security risk/attack)
