Or buy a TTIG - once I got the client to do that, all was revealed.
We can’t switch to a different gateway now, we’re starting a traning tomorrow involving this gateway We can move it one day later but not much more
I checked the gateway configuration and I don’t see room for errors.
Service provider: TTN V3
Server Address: eu1.cloud.thethings.network
Up/Downlink port: 1700
Secondary Server: Disabled
Frequency Plan: EU868 (Im in Spain)
And the UID has already been recognized by the server
What else can I check??
Nothing, if two different makes of device aren’t getting the join accept and as I’ve had the same problem in the last few weeks with a Dragino gateway which was instantly solved when a TTIG was substituted for it, then just buy another gateway from a next day distributor.
Gotcha,so we will call this one faulty and get a new one. Unortunately the amazon link at the TTIG website is only for DE, and here in Spain a quick search for the device didn’t show any products, but we will keep checking!
Thanks
It doesn’t have to be a TTIG - any LoRaWAN gateway from anywhere will do. It’s just a TTIG is cheap enough to have lying around as a backup plan.
Ok anyway we finally found a provider for this that can ship it. It will take some 5-10 days but we realized we just received another gateway (RAK) so we¡'re going to set this one up asap
Thanks!
Final note on this. We installed another gateway (RAK) and everything worked right away so definitely the dragino was the culprit.
Thanks everyone!
