Anyone experiencing current inrush problems during transmit?

Well I doubt its 0 Volts even under prtocessor idle conditions, it should be say 5mV or so.

And how much is ‘dropped considerably’ ?

Sorry, I had measured it with no load that is why it was zero I guess. Now I measure 2 mV (with load on it)

Because the drop is instantenous, I cannot measure it with a digital voltmeter. But I can say that the LED light fades at least by 50%.

Sound like a problem.

You need to check the output with a scope.
