The second sensor uses the MultiTech systems mDot LoRa module. This includes the LoRa transceiver chip and microcontroller on a small Xbee compatible module. The module happens to fit into the Thing Innovations (http://thinginnovations.uk) designed Oxford Flood Network (http://oxfloodnet.co.uk/) sensor. This sensor is currently measuring temperature and transmitting it to The Things Network.
