Prior to developing the LoRaWAN Pi board, a breakout PCB for the Microchip RN2483 was developed to allow quick and easy prototyping of devices using this module. Soldering of the modules is a little on the tricky side and would best be done using solder paste and either a reflow oven or hot air gun. The PCBs were laid out using the 868MHz antenna connection only as this produced a PCB with the shortest track to the SMA antenna connector.
