The high gain antenna ( 14dbi ) is giving us good range, and i've started some mapping of are area around it. There are definitely areas where there are coverage shadows due to the topology of the area, which is quite hilly. It will be interesting to see how far into Whitby and down Paekakariki Hill road, we can get.
Had some challenges getting the mapping working, the gateway was not receiving its GPS fixes properly and as a result ttnmapper was'nt able to properly map the data.
Some more gateways are definately required to get better coverage.
