Bureau Veritas Botlek - Rotterdam Joins, Provides and Supports the open IoT (Internet of Things) The Things Network and Industry’s with the new LoRaWAN GateWay for the Botlek-Rotterdam / Port of Rotterdam area.
This project is the first step of many others to accelerate and connect the Port of Rotterdam, Botlek Rotterdam, Maasvlakte (2) and the Rotterdam area to a free and open global IoT Network and to make it a Smart Port, like Amsterdam and Antwerpen along with other ports around the Globe.
To expand this free open secure IoT sensor network and create more coverage and redundancy in the Port than other (commercial) networks. We are searching for participants and partners to expand The Smart Port of Rotterdam together.
