I did something very funny yesterday. I mounted two endpoints in my skibox at the roof of my car and went for a ride. Both endpoints were configured to send some small binary payloads every 20s. One of them were configured in two gateways while the other in just one. I used the fantastic Android TTNMapper which connects to the TTN broker to grab the incoming traffic and pinpoint where it happend. The range was amazing, at least in open terrain 12.6km! And the 'handover light' worked as a charm!
