After a number of months of research I've opted for new TP-Link WiFi 6 devices both indoors/outdoors with the TP-Link OMADA controller for management of the network and a new TP-Link gigabit core switch + VPN with loadbalancing features.
Overall I'm very impressed with performance and range of the TP-Link EAP devices, the mesh network performance is good with little overhead; ideal for those hard to reach locations with options of POE (power-only)
Now that I've upgrade the network bandwidth across the sites; it's time to start my TTN gateways
Hopefully TTN mapper should see a marked change in the connectivity in/around south tyneside as a result
