A smart city is an urban area that uses different types of electronic data collection sensors to supply information which is used to manage assets and resources efficiently. This month at the Blast Furnace CORE electronics will teach us how to be build our own smart device using the LoPy4, Micro Python and The Things Network so you can help Newcastle become a smart city!
For those interested in the coding comps we will run 6 competitions and give you plenty of opportunity to accrue points for the blast furnace leader board. Make sure you have your CYFERLINX account setup to get the points!
It's a BYOC (bring your own computer) event. We will provide power, WiFi and Pizza!
