Just today, I test run my first gateway.
As seen in the picture, it still needed to be mounted in the housing and outside.
Pygate is probably the cheapest way to get started into the world of gateways.
It cost around 110€. Pygate is an 8-channel LoRaWAN gateway. To make it work you need to upload python code.
My gateway will be mounted on a balcony in Moste region. With a nice view of Ljubljana castle, Golovec, and Fužine.
As tested with my Dragino GPS (LGT-92) in a car, the signal can reach up to around 5km, so it covers most of the east part of Ljubljana.
