Lincoln this week became an even smarter place to live, with the switching on of the new Internet Of Things Gateway.
The Gateway provides the potential for enabling Lincoln to become a Smart Connected City.
The Gateway which is hand built by the local community is based in the south of the city, near North Hykeham.
Currently the Gateway is located in a building, though will shortly be mounted in an outside location, once a suitable casing for the electronics has been purchased and fitted.
