Prof. Dr. Egidijus Kazanavicius (PhD) is Professor and Director of the Centre of Real Time Computer Systems (KTU), co founder of startup company Fejana, a board member of Informatics Faculty at KTU, member of university strategic committe for education and research, coordinator for university programms and accademic alliances with Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, TI, Analog Devices, Intel Galileo, member of Euro group „Partnership for Innovation“, scientific coordinator for National Technologies Platforms NEM (Network and Electronic Media) and ARTEMIS (European Technology Platform on Embedded Systems). He is/was expert and consultant at Lithuania ministerial of Economy, Science and education, transportation and agency for research and development (MITA), member and expert of National platform Industry 4.0. He has over 30 years of academic and research experience with more than 130 scientific publications. Prof. E. Kazanavicius was the scientific coordinator of several international and national scientific projects, including FP6, Eurostars, etc. Main research interests are related with methodology for RTS design and simulation, DSP algorithms and systems, NDT systems, formal models and design methodology for development of embedded software, devices and wireless sensor networks for smart home energy efficiency control, digital content distribution and management, digital homes, Internet of Things and services, smart environment technologies, agent and multi-agent systems, artificial intellect and decision making.
