The Hull Community is stepping up the pace... the event brought together businesses, public service and technology providers to seek ways of collaborating on a Smart City programme. The enlarged community will be a focus for business leaders and tech experts to come together and plan how to put Hull at the forefront of an exciting new smart city technology that can be used to help improve business, communities, health and address urban and rural problems such as air quality or waste management.
We've just published the slides from the event and you can read about why we believe LoRa is an important component of a SmartCity. Hull should be part of the leading wave of innovators and we intend to start a programme of activities and projects to explore the capability of LoRa. We want to bring together organisations who could benefit from the technology with those who can implement it, so we can get started - we would like your participation!
