The Gold Coast Things Network was brought together by Gold Coast Techspace (the first makerspace on the Gold Coast) in collaboration with Refactor. Our mission is to create a wide-reaching IoT data network across the Gold Coast, fostering the creation of innovative solutions that drive positive technological and social change.

IoT is a game-changing technology with huge potential for the future. Our community is here to bring together individuals and organisations keen on collaborating to develop IoT use cases and technology solutions from scratch. We’re an open and welcoming network, especially for hobbyists who want to get involved.

We’re also working on expanding our network by rolling out more gateway devices, aiming for full coverage of the Gold Coast. Our goal is to use IoT to deliver practical solutions that benefit our community.
