The EIT Startup Days is a 54-hour event where students, graduates, researchers, developers, designers, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and start-up enthusiasts from different backgrounds come together to share ideas, form teams, build products/services and embark on entrepreneurial adventures.
During the weekend, the teams are supported by mentors and coaches on site, who help the teams refine the business model for their ideas. At the end of the event, the teams pitch their ideas to a local jury where a winner is selected.
In its second edition, the Startup Days event in 2016 is taking place in 6 European cities simultaneously, including Eindhoven.
The Things Network is one of the partners of the startup days and provides hardware to build innovative products with. TTN experts will be available all weekend to provide support, giving participants the chance to realize end-to-end IoT prototypes.

In direct cooperation with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), this event is equally organised and funded by the alumni organizations of four EIT KICs, namely Climate-KIC Alumni Association, CommUnity by InnoEnergy, EIT Digital Alumni Foundation, EIT Health Alumni Association.
The event is open to members of the EIT Alumni Community, as well as, external non-EIT participants.
