I have ordered the first TTN gateway (https://shop.thethingsnetwork.com/index.php/product/the-things-gateway/) to seed the deployment in Dallas Metroplex. It will be installed in McKinney/Frisco area and available for community use. I hope others follow my steps, so we can get some decent coverage throughout the metroplex. Hopefully, with time, we'll find corporate sponsors helping to reimburse some of these hardware costs.
I'm looking for a good place to install it - ideally on a tall building or structure with LAN or Wi-Fi internet connectivity. (It has to be placed indoor, though). Any ideas?
