Update (04/02/17):
First code using all low power options of the arduino (Sleep) and the BME280 Bosch sensor (Force_Read) is available at our respository:

Explanation of the used techniques will follow soon.
We are currently working with the typicall Arduinos in order to determine:
- Powerconsumption and different sleepmodes to extent battery live
- Distance
- Minimal configuration needed to keep the devices as small as possible
- Encryption of the payload
