Hi there, just jumping in to say that there is a second outdoor gateway in northern Aachen ever since a couple of weeks. This was part of the plan from the beginning on: Knowing that the Lousberg would be shadowing quite a bit of Aachen and Laurensberg, we jumped on the opportunity to place a gateway at a private location. The reception is already pretty good, and there is even some room for improvement left over: Right now, it's a rather small omnidirectional Antenna that is tacked to a window pane with a suction cup. But if the location proves to be of good use, a proper antenna can be placed even one floor higher, on the roof.
