We are a community of people who are interested in building a free nationwide IoT (Internet of Things) network for Korea.

A network is like a street you walk on. You don’t pay for walking on a street, but you pay for a great pizza that's sold on the street. We believe it's our mission to build a free IoT network where enterprises can open their shops free of charge to provide valuable services.

우리는 대한민국에 전국 무료 IoT(사물인터넷) 망을 구축하고자 모인 사람들의 커뮤니티입니다.

네트워크 망은 우리가 걷는 길과 같다고 볼 수 있습니다. 우리가 길을 걸을 때 통행료를 내지 않습니다. 하지만 그 길가에서 판매하고 있는 맛있는 피자는 돈을 지불하고 사먹습니다. 기업들이 가치있는 서비스를 제공하는 상점들을 무료로 열 수 있는 무료 사물인터넷(IoT)망을 만드는 것이 우리가 하고자 하는 일입니다.

Our goal is

(1) to build,
(2) to reliably operate, and
(3) to further develop

a free nationwide IoT network for Korea by IoT users like you and me,
based on 'The Things Network' using LoRa and LoRaWAN technologies.

We want small and medium-sized businesses, large corporations, K-12 to university students, and anyone who is interested in the technology can build their own IoT prototypes as well as commercial IoT services and solutions freely on top of it without paying monthly usage fees, so everyone can benefit from it.

We plan to start it from Seoul and will expand to other cities in Korea.

We believe this initiative is building a freeway to transform Korea to the society of the 4th industrial revolution.

당신과 나와 같은 IoT 사용자들이 직접,
LoRa 와 LoRaWAN 기술을 사용하는 'The Things Network'을 기반으로 하여,
대한민국에 전국 무료 사물인터넷(IoT) 망을

(1) 구축하고
(2) 신뢰성있게 운용하며
(3) 발전시켜 나아가는 것입니다.

중소기업과 대기업, 초등학생부터 대학생까지, 그리고 이 기술에 관심있는 모든 이들이 무료 IoT망을 이용하여 월사용료 없이 IoT 프로토타입 뿐만 아니라 상업용 IoT 서비스와 솔루션을 자유롭게 구축할 수 있도록 하여, 모든 사람들이 그 혜택을 볼 수 있도록 하고자 하는 것입니다.

우리는 이 노력을 서울부터 시작하여 다른 도시로 전국적으로 확산해 나아갈 계획입니다.

우리는 이 일련의 노력이 대한민국을 제4차 산업혁명 사회로 전환시키기 위한 무료 고속도로를 건설하는 일이라 생각합니다.
