The Things Conference, the world’s leading event on Low Power Wide Area Networks (LPWAN) and IoT, is pleased to announce the Zephyr® Project as an official Ecosystem Partner for its 2025 edition. This collaboration will feature Zephyr's active participation through keynotes, workshops, industry roundtables, and panel discussions, highlighting the latest advancements in embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
Zephyr RTOS has rapidly become the preferred open source operating system for low-power wireless devices and resource-constrained embedded systems. Its modular architecture, extensive hardware support, and robust community have driven its adoption across various industries, powering applications from industrial sensors to consumer wearables.

The Zephyr Project's engagement at the conference will emphasize the increasing importance of memory safety in embedded systems, e.g. through the adoption of Rust, a programming language renowned for its safety and performance. By incorporating Rust, Zephyr enhances the development of secure and reliable IoT applications.
