Gostavas de fazer parte desta comunidade e ajudar a construir uma rede IoT aberta e gratuita para os seus utilizadores em Coimbra?
Podes participar de várias maneiras, ajudando a construir a infraestrutura e aumentando a cobertura da rede de rádio, por exemplo instalando uma gateway em casa ou numa empresa, disponibilizando um lugar na tua empresa para a comunidade poder instalar gateways, participando em projetos IoT com colegas que partilham os mesmos interesses ou dando ideias para construir casos de uso uteis para a cidade.
Makers, estudantes, empreendedores, empresas locais, instituições, todos fazem parte da comunidade.
Para teres uma ideia do que é esta iniciativa, vê o que se passou em Amesterdão há 2 anos e o que se gerou em cidades por todo o mundo a partir daí.

The Things Network is a global community bringing together startups, developers, businesses along with the universities and government in building a public Internet of Things data network.
We are working on building an open and decentralised data network which will allow things to connect to the internet without using 3G or WiFi. Join us in unleashing the Internet of Things and make Coimbra part of the global network.
